Safeguarding

Crosslacon Parish is committed to promoting a safer church and safeguarding the welfare of all, especially children, young people and vulnerable adults. Safeguarding shows God’s love in action and in churches demonstrates safety and security, where abuse and mistreatment of others are not tolerated.

The Crosslacon parish has adopted the national Church of England / Diocesan Safeguarding Policy and the PCC and APCM receive regular reports on safeguarding from our Parish Safeguarding Adviser.

Our Safeguarding Policy can be accessed here. You can find out more about the national policies and procedures on the Church of England’s Safeguarding page, and you can also find useful contact information on the Diocese of Carlisle Safeguarding page. Click here for a link to Promoting a Safer Church.
