Our churches serve a number of communities on the western edge of the fells. In the Crosslacon team we have:
- St Michael’s church, which serves the villages of Arlecdon, Asby and Rowrah;
- St Paul’s, which is situated in Frizington;
- St Leonard’s, which is at the heart of the ancient village of Cleator;
- and St John’s in the Hall, which is in the centre of the former iron and coal mining town of Cleator Moor.
We seek to be a hospitable, open and engaging faith community, committed to being alongside the wider communities in which we are situated and seeking to be faithful in life and worship to our creator God who welcomes all and longs to draw each person into a life-giving and life transforming relationship with God and with one another.
