St Michael’s stands on the site of a 12th-century church. This was rebuilt in the 18th century and retains some 12th-century stonework in the chancel. In 1905 major restoration work took place when the tower was added, with 8 bells, and the church was altered to its present form.

St Michael’s holds a Holy Communion Service on every 1st Sunday of the month and a Morning Prayer Service on every 3rd Sunday of the month. All services begin at 11:15 am. Do look at our ‘What’s on’ pages for other forthcoming events.
